  1. This painting is beautiful, and far more tasteful than Boucher's. It's also interesting how much Cézanne deviated from his standard subject matter when he did this.

  2. Without any doubt. But Cezanne was more interested in basics like colors and forms, while Boucher was only exploiting the subject and delivered therefore a kind of softporno.
